In order to achieve correct seating of the push-in zone in the metallised hole in a printed circuit board, the outer edges of the push-in zone are intended to rest symmetrically on the inner wall of the hole with a pressure which is the same and remains as constant as possible over the length of the push-in zone. This is achieved according to the invention in that, after the push-in zone has been broken off along a centre line running longitudinally, the two webs which are thus formed are pulled apart from one another. <IMAGE>
