PURPOSE:To facilitate wrapping of rice with a laver sheet including various ingredients such as KANPYO (dried gourd shavings) in the rice and to enable the efficient preparation of various kinds of laver-lapped rice, by using a laver-wrapping apparatus consisting of a feeder to feed a definite amount of plate-shaped cooked rice and a wrapping machine to roll and wrap the plate-shaped rice. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rice in a rice hopper 7 is transferred in the form of a cooked rice plate with a rice feeder 1 having a transfer channel furnished with a cutter 4 and a roller 3 having a number of spiral grooves on the surface. A definite amount of rice supplied from the rice feeder 1 is further transferred by the aid of an assistant rice feeder 2. In a rolling and wrapping machine, the transported rice is surely pressed from vertical and lateral directions with a bendable plate 5 for wrapping rice with laver sheet to obtain the objective laver-wrapped rice. The wrapping plate 5 is constructed of 4 or 5 rectangular plates connected with each other in a bendable manner and vertically moving along the upper or inner surface of a rectangular parallelepiped groove 5c. Various ingredients such as KANPYO can be easily included in the wrapped rice and a large variety of laver-wrapped rice can be prepared in high efficiency. |
