The grafting of SAN copolymer onto rubber latex particle comprises (i) 1st seed stage; to make 0.05-0.1 micron rubber latex by use of monomer 1-20 wt.%, emulsifying agent 0.01-0.05 wt.%, bridge forming agent 0.001-0.02 wt.%, initiator 0.03-0.5 wt.% and ion-exchanged water 40-80 wt.%; (ii) 2nd seed stage; continuously adding monomer 5- 50 wt.%, emulsifying agent 0.02-0.2 wt.%, bridge forming agent 0.01- 0.05 wt.%, initiator 0.03-0.5 wt.% and ionexchanged water 50-100 wt.% to the latex (i) for growing latex up to 0.1-1 micron; and (iii) 3rd stage to adjust graft rate and latex (particle) size according to adding order, time and monomer adsorption.
