Device for joining construction elements (components)

There is described a device for joining construction elements with a gripper system which holds the construction element to be joined, and a positioning system which positions the gripper system at a location preset by a control unit. The device according to the invention is characterised in that at least one sensor is provided, the output signal of which has a course typical of deviations of the part to be joined from the desired position relative to the joining partner. The output-signal courses are stored in a storage unit in assignment to the deviation of the part to be joined from the desired position. The control unit compares the output signal occurring during a joining operation with the data stored in the storage unit and from this determines a correction signal for the positioning system. The device according to the invention thus permits easy adaptation to the most varied joining problems and simple correction of positioning errors.
