Circuitry for electronically switching a multiple-phase DC motor has N marks (M) arranged on the circumference of the rotor and co-operating with a detector (S), from which switching impulses (K) are derived. These impulses switch a counter (Z), the output of which controls the phases of the motor. A special mark (M') automatically resets the counter from the outside.
