PURPOSE:To prevent a tab and a lead hanging the tab from transversely deviating, by providing a gate of a mold so as to coincide with a side wall of a cavity at the central line in its front direction. CONSTITUTION:A runner 4 connecting with a pot and a gate 5 connecting the runner 4 and a cavity 3 are provided on the mating of a bottom force 2. The gate 5 is provided on the whole side wall so as to coincide with the side wall of the cavity 3 at the central line in its front direction. A resin 20 poured in the cavity 3 from the gate 5 thereby symmetrically filled along the central line and no transverse force therefore acts on a tab 14 and pellets 18. Transverse deviation of a lead hanging the tab 13 does not therefore occur either. Therefore, occurrence of cutting and a short-circuit of a bonding wire and a short-circuit between the tab and an inner lead can be avoided. |
