PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having excellent melt-stability in molding and flame retardance, by compounding a nylon-4,6 resin with specific amounts of a specific halogenated polymer, antimony trioxide, etc. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a nylon-4,6 resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.8-2.5 is compounded with (A) 3-40pts.wt., preferably 8-25pts.wt. of a halogenated polystyrene and/or halogenated poly-alpha-methylstyrene of formula (R is H or methyl; X is Br or Cl; p is 1-5; n is >=2), (B) 1-20pts. of antimony trioxide and (C) 0.2-3pts.wt. of an epoxy compound (e.g. diglycidyl polyether). |
