<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to complete a reproducing function by outputting a picture immediately before a change stored in a picture memory when a mode change together with a reproduction is carried out in a mode setting circuit as a still picture. CONSTITUTION:On the way of a standard reproduction mode, a mode setting key 17a is operated to rewind a tape travelling mode and change to the reproduction mode. In this case, a picture memory circuit 13 stores the reproduced output of a video reproducing circuit 3 immediately before the change of the mode. Then, according to an instruction from a control circuit 16, a change over switch 14 is changed over to the picture memory circuit 13 side. Thereby, a video stored immediately before the change of the mode by the circuit 13 is outputted through the change over switch 14. At this time, even after a temporary stop, when a sag is generated in a magnetic tape about to shift to a rewinding reproduction mode, the picture reproduced finally of the standard reproduction mode is reproduced as the still picture, a stable picture having no noise is reproduced.</p> |
