PURPOSE:To get rid of a noise through nonlubricant as well as to eliminate any backlash there, by making jogs of an endless belt forming irregularities on the surface so as to be engaged with jogs of a limited end belt provided with jogs to be engaged with that of the endless belt at length of more than the driving range and locked to a floor or the like. CONSTITUTION:Irregular surfaces 4a of an endless belt 4 to be rolled on two pulleys 2 and 3 and rotated by a driving pulley 5 are engaged in a longitudinal direction of the top of a limited end belt 8 having irregular surfaces 8a locked to a floor or the like. Therefore, not only the engaging surface is drivable even in case of nonlubricant but also length of the engagement is large enough, so that transmission efficiency is high and, what is more, there is no noise at all. In addition, since the belt 4 at the side of a drive unit DU is pressed to the belt 8 at the side of a rail unit RU by a presser roller 6, there is no backlash irrespective of form of both these irregularities 4a and 8a. |
