The invention relates to a method that comprises the following steps: establishment of a mobile communication channel (18) between personal equipment (16) and a server (10) of a service provider (S); transmission of data (D) including a service identification code by the personal equipment to the server via the established communication channel; transmission of the service (S) corresponding to the identification code by the server to the personal equipment. The method further includes the following steps, before the transmission of data (D) by the personal equipment: accessing a service presentation signal (40), made available by broadcasting information signals, from a terminal (22) provided in the vicinity of the personal equipment and broadcasting these information signals; generation of the data (D) by the terminal using the service presentation signal; and short-range transmission of this data by the terminal to the personal equipment.
