A check valve comprises a moving valve member (3), in particular in the form of a ball, having as sealing surface a spherical surface (7) turned towards a valve seat (5) and a radial guide (11) turned towards a bore (1) that receives the moving valve member (3). The valve member (3) has recesses (8) which link the area (9) of the bore (1) upstream of the guide (11) with the area (10) downstream of the guide (11) for medium throughflow.
