Process for the manufacture of moulds intended for the production of ceramic articles

The process of the invention comprises the following operations: - preparation of a binder by mixing an epoxy resin and a suitable hardener; - production of a first mixture by compounding 10 to 30 % by weight of the said binder with 70 to 90 % by weight of an inorganic or ceramic pulverulent filler and of a second mixture with an inorganic or ceramic coarse filler; - forming the surface layer of the mould by tamping the said first mixture in a mould matrix; - placing over the surface layer of the mould and tamping the second mixture to complete the thickness of the wall of the mould; - prehardening, demoulding and hardening of the mould.
