PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the titled raw material containing mannan sustained in a specific state in raw tuberous roots of 'KONJAK' (devil's-tongue) at a low cost, by converting washed raw tuberous roots of the 'KONJAK' into mannan particles in a state isolated from air and vacuum packaging the resultant particles in a state isolated from air. CONSTITUTION:For example, washed raw tuberous roots 10 of 'KONJAK' (devil's-tongue) are put in a cylinder 8. Water is injected and air is simultaneously discharged from air vent valves 7. Evacuation is then completely carried out by rotation of blades 11 at a low speed and pushing down of a piston 9. The blades 11 are then rotated at a high speed and the raw tuberous roots 10 are converted into particles in a state of completely broken contact with air. The collected mannan particles are subsequently vacuum packaged in a state isolated from air. |
