The invention relates to a sealing profile of rubber or rubber-like material for segments which are provided with an encircling recess and are assembled to make a tubular tunnel, the profile having: a) grooves running in parallel on the base side in the longitudinal direction, b) angled side flanks, and c) channels running in parallel in the longitudinal direction. The essential feature of this sealing profile consists in the fact that there is at least one continuous web in the centre area (centre) of the profile. The web is not impaired in its supporting action by a longitudinal channel.
