The closure cover 4 of the filter body 2 has two sets of passages, one for the fuel and the other for the water of the engine cooling circuit. This latter set of passages has a water entry opening 5 directly coupled to an outlet opening 51 formed in a pressure region of a thermostat unit 6 for controlling the coolant circuit of the engine. A valve 58, operated by a thermostat (41, Fig. 2) subject to the fuel temperature, controls coolant flow into the cover coolant passages. <IMAGE> |
