PURPOSE:To invariably maintain the brightness of the operating illumination at the adequate brightness in response to the quantity of solar radiation by controlling the damper opening/closing or the like of an air conditioner on one hand and controlling the brightness of the operating illumination on the other hand based on the output signal of a solar radiation sensor. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of a solar radiation sensor 7 is compared with the opening signal of a damper 10 for controlling an air conditioner with a comparison circuit 8, and a signal to close the damper 10 is outputted to a motor 9 when the quantity of solar radiation is small, for example. The voltage proportional to the output signal of the solar radiation sensor 7 is outputted by an operation amplifier 11. When the quantity of solar radiation is large, the output voltage of the solar radiation sensor 7 and the output voltage of the operation amplifier are increased respectively to completely turn a transistor 3 on, and the operating illumination 6 is controlled at the brightest state.
