A core material for an automobile bumper is disclosed, which includes an elongated body (1) of a foamed polyolefin resin provided with a plurality of depressed portions (2) in front and/or rear surfaces thereof, and structural members (3) disposed within at least part of said depressed portions (2). The structural members are formed of a synthetic resin and have a bulk density of 0.2-3.5 g/cm<3>.
