METHOD FOR RECOVERING VALUABLE METAL

PURPOSE:To effectively and simply recover valuable metals from scraps of electronic parts by charging the scraps into a copper converter during refining by blowing without suspending operation. CONSTITUTION:A magnetically separated concentrate obtd. in a copper smelting stage is mixed with crushed scraps of electronic parts contg. gold and silver together with resin in 1:2-2:1 weight ratio and the mixture is put in a top bottle 1. It is discharged with a vibration feeder 2 and charged into a copper converter 7 from the charge hole 6 through a belt conveyor 3 and a charge chute 4 intersecting a flue 5. Thus, gold and silver in the scraps are effectively transferred to metallic copper and recovered.
