PURPOSE:To facilitate the getting on and off of a wheelchair, etc., by nearly continuously surrounding to front and both right and left sides of a floor face with a front erected wall and right and left erected walls to form a body, and housing a prime mover in said front erected wall. CONSTITUTION:The front and both right and left sides of a floor face 36 are continuously surrounded by a front erected wall 38 and right and left erected walls 40 to form a body 34, and a prime mover, a differential device, and a pair of right and left driving shafts are housed in the front erected wall 38 and a rear wheel transmission device which extends in the longitudinal direction is housed in each of the right and left erected walls 40. Thereby, rear wheels 64 with a large ground contact load can be driven without need for elevating the floor face 36. A handle shaft 50 which is covered with a handle cover 60 is erected upward from the front erected wall 38 and a front wheel 46 is steered by a handle bar 58. Further, a U-shaped chock 86 which is rotated downward by the lowering operation of a vehicle rear part is provided on the rear parts of the right and left erected walls 40, to facilitate the getting on and off of a wheel chair A while securing its safety. Thereby, even a user of the wheel chair and an aged person can easily get on and off the rear part of the floor face. |
