PURPOSE:To conduct a good printing on papers of various surface smoothness from high to low, by mounting heating elements of a printing head on an elastic body. CONSTITUTION:In a printing head, a plurality of heating elements 2 are formed separately from each other and on the reverse side thereof an elastic body 9 is disposed. In this manner, the heating elements 2 are individually fitted to irregularities formed by fibers on the surface of a rough paper 5 and the heating elements 2 goes even into recessed portions 5a, thereby an ink layer 4 is brought into contact with the rough paper 5, enabling the ink layer 4 to melt and to be transferred. Therefore, a sharp printing without ink blur can be obtained even on the rough paper having a low surface smoothness. |
