PURPOSE:To detect accurate oxygen concentration by providing a solid-state electrolytic element, a couple of electrodes, a 1st and a 2nd leads, etc. CONSTITUTION:This oxygen sensor is provided with the solid-state electrolytic element 4, the couple of electrodes 7 and 7', the 1st lead 8', the 2nd lead 10', etc. Then a signal from the electrode 7 is outputted to a control circuit through the element lead 8, an intermediate lead 10, and an external lead 9. A signal from the measurement electrode 7', on the other hand, is outputted to the control circuit through the 1st lead 8', the 2nd lead 10', and an external lead 9' and earthed. The output signals for those signals including both electrodes 7 and 7' are both insulate by the an insulating layer from a housing 6 which conducts to an engine system. Consequently, an output signal sent from the oxygen sensor 1 to the control circuit through a lead element 5 is hardly affected by noises from the engine system. |
