PURPOSE:To attain economical switching by providing an external storage device with an operation/stop switch for a built-in typewriter control part. CONSTITUTION:In off-line status, a high performance processor 220 to which a central processing unit (CPU) 210, a typewriter controlling device 250, etc. are connected through an I/O bus switch SW230 is made completely off line status. The CPU system 210 executes ordinary service and the processor 220 turns on a TTYSW281 and debugs a program in the off-line status while using a typewriter 262. After completing off-line debugging, the IOSW230 is switched and a TPC250, etc. are connected to the HCP220 to turn the system on-line status. Since a TTY 251 is used in the on-line status, the TTY262 with the same I/O address is stopped by the TTYSW281. The TTYSW281 is interlocked with the IOSW230. After completing on-line debugging, the CPU210, a package of a typewriter controlling device 282 and the TTY262 are removed. |
