PURPOSE:To uniformly heat objects to be heated such as large wire rod coils by circulating the hot wind to be blown to the objects to be heated in opposite directions by each zone, in a continuous furnace. CONSTITUTION:In a continuous furnace such as roller hearth furnace, the agitating fans 5a, 5c of zones A, C form a circulation system of blowing the hot wind to the objects 3a, 3c to be heated of each zone from above, allowing the same to flow downward and turning it upward in the lower part of rollers 2 for transfer. On the other hand, the agitating fans 5b, 5d1 of zones B, D are revolved reverse to form a circulation system of absorbing the hot wind from below the materials 3b, 3d, allowing the same to flow upward around the materials 3b, 3d and having the same absorbed in the fans 5b, 5c. Thus, the materials advancing in the zones A-D are uniformly heated by alternately heating from the upper and lower parts. The temp. controlling by each zone is stabilized by this method. |
