The seal according to the invention is used in shafts for a marine screw propeller. The seal, consisting of elastic rings, springs, sliding ring and supporting ring, is characterised in that a hard distance ring is mounted with the orthogonal section in the seal assembly between the sliding rings over the elastic rings. The entire seal assembly is pressed on with the helical springs, which are mounted by a bush on drivers fastened in the supporting ring. |
