<p>A nozzle insert (l) for the nozzle (l4) of a squeezable tube (l5) or other dispenser consists of a hollow cylindrical body having a first part (2) carrying raised axially extending circumferentially spaced plateau regions or ribs (3) separated by grooves (4), and a second part (9) having a smoothly cylindrical outer wall (l0) and being of greater length than the first part (2).
