PURPOSE:To permit the starting of the title air conditioner without waiting until the pressure of a refrigerant circuit is reduced and permit the driving of the same without reducing the frequency of a compressor even when the pressure is high, by a method wherein, the title air conditioner is provided with a RAM, which stores the data of V-F pattern of outdoor, and a means, which operates the V-F pattern of indoor. CONSTITUTION:A V-F pattern operating means 14 is provided in an indoor 1 and is connected to a micro-computer 5. A pressure sensor 9a, which detects the condition of a pressure in a refrigerant circuit, is provided in an outdoor side 6 and the output thereof is sent to the microcomputer 12 through a data wire 16. A RAM 15 is connected to the microcomputer 12 and the V-F pattern is stored therein. A crossover track 13 between the indoor and outdoor sides is connected to transmit and receive a frequency, a pressure and the data of an electric current value from the indoor side 6 as well as the V-F pattern data of the indoor side. The data of a voltage between wires with respect to the frequency F of a compressor is transmitted from the indoor side to the outdoor side and the data is stored in the RAM while correcting the V-F pattern thereby driving the compressor.
