PURPOSE:To retrieve coincidence/noncoincidence of data to shorten the retrieval time of data by providing a computer circuit using DMA with a comparing circuit, a latch circuit, a selecting circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:The first data (c) is written in a retrieval data latch circuit 4 of a data retrieving device where a DMA2 is controlled by a CPU1 and is held temporarily, and this data (c) is compared with the second data (e) read out from a memory 10 by a data comparing circuit 3. The comparison result from the circuit 3 is temporarily held in a unidirectional buffer circuit 7, and a bidirectional buffer circuit 8 is used as the buffer of data busses 11 and 11a. Opening and closing of gates of both circuits 7 and 8 are controlled by a buffer opening/closing circuit 5, and an operation mode is selected in an operation mode selecting circuit 6 by mode data (d). Thus, coincidence/noncoincidence of data is retrieved to shorten the retrieval time of data.
