PRODUCTION OF VULCANIZED BLEND OF NBR/PVA

PURPOSE:To produce a blend wherein both components of NBR and PVA are uniformly blended in a given ratio, by mixing NBR latex with an aqueous solution of PVA and removing a fixed amount of water fro the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Acrylonitrile butadiene rubber latex is blended with an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol and a given amount of water is removed from the mixed solution. The mixed solution from which a given amount of water is removed is vulcanized to give a vulcanized material.
