PURPOSE:To obtain lighting which is uniform at high level by guiding light in from a lighting fixture through the guide-in part of an indirect lighting body provided to the outer periphery of a suction nozzle, and dispersing the light at a dispersion part and then irradiating a parts with the scattered light from the tip end surface of the suction nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Illumination light, projected by lighting fixtures 13 on both sides, enters the indirect lighting body 12, i.e. the space surrounded with a cylinder body 8 and a disk 9 from the guide-in part 7. This light is reflected by the external reflecting surface of a conic part 3 and dispersed widely in the indirect lighting body 12 to illuminate dispersedly the whole disk 9 constituting a scattered light generation part 10. The light which is further scattered by this scattered light generation part 10 is reflected downward to illuminate the parts P sucked to the intake 6 of the suction nozzle 2. The image of the parts by the uniform scattered light is incident on a recognition device 14 at the lower part and the suction position, etc., of the parts P to the axis of the intake 6 is accurately recognized.
