This applicator device 1b for a liquid product contained in a bottle 2b comprises an applicator brush 3b carried by a cover 4b. It comprises reserve means R capable of storing the liquid of the bottle 3b in order to supply the bristles 8b of the applicator brush 3b when the latter is withdrawn from the bottle 2b with a view to application of the product, these reserve means R being capable of filling up between two uses of the brush 3b and being formed at the periphery of the rod 9b, being extended in order to come opposite that part of the assembly of the bristles 8b of the brush 3b which is adjacent to the said rod 9b. In particular, the means R consist of a gap formed between the applicator brush 3b and a tubular sleeve 44 surrounding the latter and stationary with respect to it. <IMAGE>
