PURPOSE:To prevent dust from mixing into the gas heading for an outlet and enhance dust collecting performance by recirculating leaking gas out of a gland packing to a ceramic filter inlet. CONSTITUTION:A gas inlet 5 and a gas outlet 6 are provided in a casing 1 equipped with a ceramic filter element 2, gland packing 3 and a gland follower 4. A leak off line 7 connecting the gland packing 3 with an inlet of element 2 is provided. Gas leaking out between the casing 1 and the ceramic filter 2 is sucked forcibly with a suction blower 8 without being mixed with the gas coming out of the element 2 and returned to the inlet of the element 2. Accordingly, it is possible to eliminate substantially leaking gas out of a duct to enhance dust collecting performance.
