The pneumatic conveyor, to which the long agricultural materials are fed via an injector sluice by means of a mechanical conveyor, is provided, for the purpose of doing away with the motor of the mechanical conveyor without influencing the throughflow cross-section of the injector sluice, in the injector sluice with a sensor which responds to changes in density of the conveying material.
