PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust the height of a material to be cooked and to prevent sparks from generating due to high-frequency wave by allowing a sensor on which a food to be heated is placed to have collapsible legs by the rotation and providing an insulating material at parts of the legs contacting the saucer. CONSTITUTION:A heating chamber 4 provided within a main body 1 is provided at its upper part with a heater 5 and a high-frequency generating source 6 for supplying a high frequency wave, and at its lower part with a turntable 8 on which a loading plate 7 rides. A supporting tool 12 provided with a pivotally supporting holes 11 is placed on the outer bottom surface of a saucer 10 provided on the loading plate 7 in an attachable and detachable manner. Bent parts 14 at the upper ends of a plurality of legs 13 are pivotally supported by pivotally supporting holes 11 and are rotated, and the lower ends of the legs 13 hold an insulating material 15 and are placed on the leading plate 7, the turntable 8 or the bottom wall of the heating chamber. The bent portions 14 at the upper ends of the legs 3 are coated with an insulating material 15 such as ceramics, porcelain or the like. By this arrangement, upon conducting the high frequency cooking, the unit can be even when the legs are erected or the unit is rotated at the bent parts at the upper ends of the legs or is rotated at the central parts of the legs are collapsed, depending upon the size of the food to be cooked.
