PURPOSE:To obtain a developer which is free from fogging by using a specific polyvinylidene fluoride as an additive to the developer. CONSTITUTION:The polyvinylidene fluoride particles having 3-8mum, more preferably 4-7mum volume mean particle size and the volumetric distribution consisting of <=5%, more preferably <=4%, further preferably <=2%>=20mum, <=25%, more preferably <=20%, further preferably <=15%>=8mum, and <=1.5%, more preferably <=1.0%, further preferably <=0.5% residual ratio of 400 mesh are preferably used. The polyvinylidene fluoride is a homopolymer of a vinylidene fluoride and copolymer of a vinylidene fluoride and ethylene, vinyl fluoride, etc. The amt. of the specific polyvinylidene fluoride to be added to a toner is 0.01-5wt%, more preferably 0.02-2wt%. |
