When energizing and de-energizing inductances such as electro- magnets or the like, in particular braking coils of electromagnetic brakes in electric motors, the braking coils being energized with direct current, it is desirable that the current rises quickly to the value provided or drops to zero quickly, in order that the electric motor is not overloaded at the time of starting- up and runs on for the shortest possible time at the time of stopping. The object of providing a simple, operationally reliable electric circuit arrangement, which is independent of the motor from the constructional point of view, with which the speed of rise and fall of a coil current, in particular of the current in the braking coil of an electric motor, can be improved, is achieved due to the fact that a double half wave rectifier circuit 1 operating as a voltage doubler precedes the inductance 5,6. <IMAGE> |
