<p>PURPOSE:To elevate the temp. of desulfurized exhaust gas without requiring other heat sources at the time of releasing the desulfurized low-temp. exhaust gas into a chimney, by heat-exchanging the same with undesulfurized gas of a high temp. by way of an aqueous soln. of CaCl2. CONSTITUTION:Untreated gas of a high temp. is put into a circulating liquid heating tower 2 through a pipe 6 and is discharged through an outlet 15 by using an apparatus consisting of a treated gas heating tower 1 and a circulating liquid heating tower 2. On the other hand, at the time when the CaCl2 soln. of >=50% concentration on a liquid dispersing plate 5 disperses and flows down in the tower 2, it is heated by the high-temp. untreated gas to become a high concn. soln. which is then led to the upper part of the tower 1 by a pipe 8. At this time, the calcium chloride soln. of a high temp. heats the wet type desulfurized exhaust gas coming through an inlet 17 to a high temp., after which it cools down and goes to the liquid dispersing plate 3.</p> |
