Swivel drive for a rotatable platform of a machine, in particular for the rotatable loader frame of a swing loader, consisting of a supporting plate which is pivotably mounted on a bearing device concentric to a perpendicular axis and is made to perform swivelling movements by a drive device acting on its periphery. To simplify the construction, the swivel drive consists of a hydraulic cylinder (38) which is pivotably mounted at one end on the machine frame and is attached in an articulated manner at the other end to a lever (42), mounted on the supporting plate (18), in such a way that it is swivelled through at least 90 DEG by movements of the hydraulic cylinder. For the purpose of common swivelling movements, the lever (42) can be connected to the supporting plate (18) in two swivelled positions at a distance of about 90 DEG from one another by means of a connector or coupling device (Fig. 3). <IMAGE>
