PURPOSE:To easily and surely a fluid rust preventive agent into the joint part of a bag-shaped structural member by inserting a rust preventive member formed by enveloping the fluid rust preventive agent with a water soluble material and dissolving the same with the water intruding into the bag-shaped structural member. CONSTITUTION:The fluid rust preventive agent 7 (wax oil having about 2,200-6,700cps viscosity) is enveloped by the water soluble material 8 (consisting of cup-shaped members 8a 8b of gelatin, etc.) to constitute the rust preventive member 9. An acrylic adhesive agent is partially coated on the outside surface of said member. Such rust preventive member 9 is inserted into a door 1 from a service hole 10 etc. of the door 1 of a vehicle body and is stuck and fixed to the entire region of the joint part 5 at the lower edge by an adhesive agent, etc. Part of the water intrudes into the door 1 to dissolve the material 8 when the vehicle body is subjected to a water leakage test by showering. Then, the rust preventive agent 7 flows together with the water. The rust preventive agent 7 is therefly flowed and filled along the joint part 5 to form a coated layer 12.
