<p>Device for measuring the flowrate of a free flow in space or the speed of a body in a fluid medium with a measurement head in the form of a flow body (1) which has as its measurement point first holes (2) extending into its hollow interior and distributed around its periphery according to its pressure distribution near to its thickest point, or a circumferential slot. Depending on the type of its pressure distribution, it may have second holes (4) extending into its hollow interior and distributed around its periphery, on its rear, tapering end or ahead of its thickest point, or it may have a second circumferential slot, whereby the hollow interior is divided by a partition wall (6), between the first bores and second bores, into two chambers (3, 5) in which terminate appropriate pressure measurement connections (7, 8). Measurement systems are used to measure the pressure differentials between the chambers (3, 5). According to the measurement process of the invention, the speed sought is determined from a difference in pressure, or any desired parameters are determined from the said pressure differentials.</p> |
