PURPOSE:To receive a control signal over a wide scope and to widely expand the using scope of a transmitter by an operator by controlling the direction of a receiving part based upon the control signal from a transmitter. CONSTITUTION:When the keyboard of a transmitter is depressed, a control command signal enters an encoder 12, is made into a pulse, in such case, the code for checking stored into a memory is also coded by the encoder 12, modulation is loaded to the carrier signal from a carrier generating device 14 by a modulator 13, and the code is transmitted as an infrared ray signal from a transmission part 15. On the other hand, a receiver, when an infrared ray signal from the transmission part 15 is inputted to a movable receiving part, outputs an operating signal corresponding to a microcomputer 24 through a register 22 and a decoder 23. On the other hand, the infrared ray signal is digitally converted by an A/D converter 31 and enters a CPU 32. The CPU 32, when a signal is inputted, drives a DC servo motor 35 through a D/A converter 33 and a normal reverse rotary control circuit 4, and when a moving receiving part is directed in the direction in which the signal of the maximum strength is obtained, stops the driving of the DC servo motor 35.
