<p>The invention relates to a method for immobilising microorganisms and/or enzymes using a porous carrier material, wherein a gel layer which contains the microorganisms and/or enzymes is introduced into the porous carrier material and is hardened. For this purpose, the carrier material is impregnated with a suspension which contains the microorganisms or enzymes and a gel former. The impregnated carrier material is then introduced into an electrolyte solution for ionotropic gelation or into a solution containing crosslinking chemicals, and is hardened, washed and dried.</p> |
