"Improvements in bridge (span)-type cutting-off and polishing machines for slabs of marble, granite and stones in general" of the type which comprises a single spanning beam rolling on guides, and on which can move either a single carriage carrying the two heads, namely the cutting head and the polishing head, or equally two carriages still both located on the same spanning beam, and each of which carries a head and is composed of the elements necessary for polishing or respectively for cutting the slabs of stone-type materials. 2.
