PURPOSE:To record a copied date or the like by inputting a graphic or a character to be written on paper in addition to an original image by an original scanning means and writing the information while being synthesized with information representing calendar and/or time. CONSTITUTION:A line sensor 30 reads an original image as a picture signal, and the area 96 of a partial write input sheet is an area representing a graphic and the CCD line sensor 30 stores a dot pattern into a memory corresponding to a bit pattern. Figures 3, 5, 6 have respectively hatched areas, and the display representing a date is given to the area and partial write is applied onto paper, then a confirming stamp with data is used.
