PURPOSE:To improve the correction capability for drawing and meandering by constructing fixed rolls and movable rolls in a variable crown structure and increasing or reducing crown amounts in accordance with a magnitude of a loop amount of a strip. CONSTITUTION:A strip accumulator 3 is provided with a loop amount detector 5 and a crown amount command arithmetic unit 6 variably controlling crown amounts of rolls 2a, 2b, and 2c is installed. The detector 5 detects the length of a wire 3a being wound on a dram 4a by a tension device 4 and calculates the loop amount of a strip 1. Then, the unit 6 receives signals of the detector 5 and sends a command increasing or reducing a crown amount in accordance with a magnitude of a loop amount to the rolls 2b and 2c and the movable roll 2a. In this way, the correcting capability for drawing and meandering is improved because influences of loop amounts are eliminated. |
