PURPOSE:To reduce the load on an operator and to improve the processing efficiency by forming a stack structure for a document file switch control mechanism so that the new file names can be extracted in order together with the file names obtained in the preceding time and copying those file names to the document medium. CONSTITUTION:A name 11 of a document file which is under handling is registered to a file name stack register 7, and several types of document file name groups which are recently used are recorded in the order of older ones. These name groups are always copied to an exclusive copy area 3 in a document medium 1 to avoid the double registration of the same file name. Then a keyboard 6 delivers a command to switch a present document file A to B and therefore the document file A on a document memory 10 is replaced with an old document file A. Then the document file B which is newly requested is fetched to the memory 10 from the medium 1. This switching action is repeated to produce the document file group in the medium 1. |
