PURPOSE:To form a photosetting resin layer in such a manner that said layer can be thoroughly adhered tightly to a substrate side without remaining on a stamper side by making the adhesiveness of the surface of the substrate to be formed with an irregularly spaced diffraction grating to the curable resin higher than the adhesiveness to the stamper. CONSTITUTION:A rugged surface having the roughness corresponding at least to the blaze height of the stamper, i.e., frost surface 2a is formed on the surface of the glass substrate 2 to be formed with the irregularly spaced diffraction grating pattern. The blaze pattern is formed of the resin 3 curable by UV rays composed to have the refractive index after curing approximately equal (in a <1/10 range) to the refractive index of the glass substrate 2. The surface area on the glass substrate 2 side is increased by such frost surface 2a and the resin 3 curable by UV rays adheres more strongly and tightly to the glass substrate 2 than to the stamper; in the end, the blaze pattern of the stamper can be thoroughly transferred to the glass substrate 2. |
