The invention relates to a power-driven hand-held machine tool (3), in particular a router, which has a guide device (14) by which it can be guided on a guide rail (16) capable of being rested on a workpiece (15) so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of said guide rail. The machine furthermore has a supporting table (4) which, in the use position, rests on the guide rail (16) by a portion (22) of its running sole (10). A supporting device (25) for supporting the table part (24), protruding laterally from the guide rail (16), with respect to the workpiece (15) is present on the supporting table (4). This device has a supporting part (30) which, in its supporting position, projects beyond the running sole (10) downwards towards the workpiece (15) and rests on the latter and, in its inoperative position, is arranged above or in the plane of the running sole. <IMAGE>
