发明名称 TREATMENT OF FRICTION JOINT SURFACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To form a friction joint surface with relatively small load by pressing plural times the joint surface by using an indenting jig which has fine rugged surfaces and flat surfaces on the surface in order to increase the coefft. of friction of the friction joint surface. CONSTITUTION:The coefft. of friction of the friction surface at the connection is increased in order to assure the transmission force between members in friction joining of a structure. An indenting jig 10 to be used for said purpose is formed by quadrisecting circumferentially the surface, forming many of fine ruggedness B in the two sectorial parts existing in symmetrical positions and forming the remaining sectorial parts as a flat surface F. After the friction joint surfaces is pressed once with such jig 10, the surface is rotated 90 deg. and is subjected to the second pressing so that indentations (b) are formed over the entire joint surface. The area and shape of the rugged parts on the pressing surface of the jig may be changed or the number of pressing may be changed. The treatment of the friction surface is made possible with the relatively small load and the durability of the device for forming the friction surface is improved.
