RADIATION MEASURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To achieve a higher accuracy in the checking of measuring operation, by applying a voltage pulse signal to a bias power source of a sensor to compare an input of the voltage pulse signal with an output, after the voltage pulse signal is separated from the output of the sensor. CONSTITUTION:A voltage pulse checking signal at a signal addition circuit 4 generated by a trigger signal is input to a bias power source 3 to be applied to a sensor 1. A signal of the sensor 1 is inputted into a pulse separation circuit 5 via a pulse amplifier 2 where a checking signal is separated from a signal attributed to radiation. The checking signal thus separated is checked by a signal comparator 6 whether it coincides with a trigger signal of the circuit 4 and is set to a microprocessor 7 for processing. When any abnormality is in the results of measurement, it is indicated on a display 8 and with an alarm 9. This achieves a higher accuracy in the checking of measuring operation and a higher safety of working.
