STIRRER AND METHOD FOR DISSOLVING GELATIN BY USING SAID STIRRER

PURPOSE:To shorten the time for dissolving gelatin by heating a dissolving vessel of a heating and dissolving vessel disposed with a stirrer provided with heating means to a stirring vane and heating the stirring vane thereby dissolving the gelatin. CONSTITUTION:An electrical heating element 2 formed by coating a nichrome wire with glass fibers, etc., and forming the same to a sheet shape is stuck and attached to the stirring vane 1. A conductor 3 of the heating element 2 is connected through the inside of a hollow shaft 4 to two sheets of metallic rings 6 which are stuck atop a power feed plate 5 and are made into the circular shape concentrical with the shaft 4. The metallic rings 6 are in contact with a slider 7 and play the role of an electrical terminal. A partition plate 8 is further provided by taking leakage of electricity and other electrical hazards into consideration. The gelatin near the stirring vane 1 is dissolved in an early stage if the gelatin is dissolved by using such device. The time for dissolving the gelatin is thus shortened.
